CTC Purchases Land in Traverse City

If we build it, they will come...

Provide quality pediatric therapeutic services that met the changing needs of children and their families in a supportive atmosphere; this is the Children's Therapy Corner mission. Aligning with that mission, our shared vision includes a physical environment that has the comfort and feeling of "home". We want our families to be comfortable in our facility- from a crackling fire in the fireplace, to fresh coffee in the kitchen; the details of our physical environment help to translate the care with which we treat our children.

In Traverse City it's long been the goal to create a warm, inviting setting in our own, stand-alone building. At the end of December, that objective moved one step closer toward becoming a reality when Owner/Director Janet Ringle-Bartels signed the closing papers on several lots on Chartwell Avenue near Centre Ice. With architectural plans currently being drawn up, the exterior will bear a similarity to the Midland location, yet the interior will maintain a unique, "up north" feel.

"Traverse City has waited a long time for this," states Ringle-Bartels. "We are finally ready for the next step. The present plans are for a building of more than 5,000 square feet all designed to meet the therapeutic needs of the children we serve. This is an exciting time for our Traverse City location."

Traverse City CTC anticipates a spring groundbreaking date, hoping to welcome clients through the front doors by mid-September 2013. Please continue to check back over the next few months to see the progress that we've made.
