Note to Parents

notetoparentsHello. We are so glad you've found us. As you search the seemingly endless sources of information about your child's therapy in this infinite space we call the Internet, you're likely overwhelmed. We understand. Everyone has an opinion on everything, and considering them all can be maddening.

So, let's start with first things first: Let's figure out what you need. At Children's Therapy Corner, we offer a no-charge consultation, during which we will sit down, talk it through and see if CTC is a good fit for your child. If it is, we'll work out a plan. If it's not, we'll gladly point you to where we think you'd be better helped.

At CTC, parental involvement is a top priority. Collaboration between parents and therapists is essential for the maximum benefit of therapy. Our therapists will talk with you in a language you understand.

What you do at home is a necessary extension of CTC therapy. We give you the tools to recognize your child's needs, and teach you how to provide for those needs and advocate for their success.

Our therapy is more than merely "playing with toys." The great thing is kids usually don't know it's therapy — they just know they don't want to leave. At CTC, your child will feel successful, make gains, feel loved and learn trust, all while doing what's hard.

Our therapists will get to know your child and family. We genuinely care about how your child is doing. We strike a healthy balance between telling you what you need and giving you input to decide that for yourself. We teach you how to encourage your child, when to push and when not to.

At CTC, we are dedicated to children. They aren't just a focus. They're our only focus.
