Welcome to Our Traverse City Home
The dream of Children’s Therapy Corner continued from its beginnings in Midland, with expansion into the Traverse City area in 2004. As we grew, we stayed true to our vision to work with families as a team to create an honest and trusting environment that promotes learning and sharing. In 2013 we completed our ‘Up North home’.
Our Traverse City home was designed and built exclusively as a rehabilitation and therapy center for children following the model of our Midland pediatric clinic. That means everything in and around the home-like building was created to be used by families seeking high-quality therapeutic services for their children.
From our gyms specifically set-up to work on physical challenges or sensory processing, to the quiet rooms where we can concentrate on language and speech, to our kitchens used to encourage higher level thinking and planning skills, it’s all about your child.
Our Traverse City location offers the core services of Physical, Occupational and Speech-Language Therapy. We also have Music Therapy, and specialized treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorders through the PLAY Project, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the Sandbox. Children’s Therapy Corner provides therapeutic intervention for children. CTC was founded on the belief that there should be a place where families can come and learn about their child’s needs, in a supportive team atmosphere. We will work with you to provide direction and support for your family and your child. The goal is for your child to live their life to its fullest capacity.
